A Thin Line Between Feeling Down and Being Depressed

Life is full of ups and downs. If your low mood persists for days and months, then it is depression.

Sleeplessness

Persistent sleeplessness is the first symptom of depression. Your will be a night owl, either on the internet or pondering over simple issues you faced.

Self-Pity

You may start lamenting your worries to any stranger if the person is polite and gives an ear to your stories. You may start comparing your life with others and feel hatred towards everyone. You will not be satisfied inspite of having everything you wanted.

Loneliness

There will be a bunch of friends and family members in the room, yet you may feel lonely. You will not cherish what you have. You pick on your spouse or family members for your failure and unhappy condition.

Emotional pain

You may feel tired and worn-out all the time. Your thoughts will surround only about your life. You may express regret of your existence.

Panic attacks for petty issues

Your heart will be heavy most of the time. You may be scared and lack confidence in any situation.
